About us
The Auctioneers Act 2013 sets out what information a person needs to provide to become registered as an auctioneer.
Occupational Regulation — a unit within the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) — registers auctioneers in New Zealand and administers the register of auctioneers.
This replaces the licensing system administered by the Ministry of Justice under the Auctioneers Act 1928 and the Auctioneers Regulations 1958.
